Once this is set up, the dentist will place the whitener to the teeth. Then the gel is ‘activated’, using the provided metal halide light. After the established amount of time, the gel is removed, fluoride is applied, and the post shade measurements are taken. You will be able to see quickly just how much whiter your teeth have gotten.
