ATT Uverse TV Channels and Info
I have tested out ATTs Uverse for about a month. Even though ATT brags about the quantity of Hi-D channels it makes available, I am like the bulk of television addicts who not only do not have a hd capable tv, but also still use picture-tube-style analog formats.
We only hooked the U-verse to the set in our living room. But the firms bundles will let you connect up to 3 plus more if you are ready to pay more. The TIVO-like device connects to one TV, and the others can get stored shows off it. I requested the U400 service option, which comes with over 300 non-HD channels and starts at $97 a month. ATT has bundled choices that mix U-verse and Net access, but do not start panting at the idea of unbelievably fst Web surfing. The online access offered with ATT Uverse is pretty much the same as ATT’s dsl package, though upload rates are improved.
The part that most I was impressed with was the picture. Honestly, I have never seen a picture that clear on any tube tv. I also like the proven fact that the DVR can record up to 4 channels simultaneously.
ATT installations take a number of hours, depending on 2 to 4 your house’s wiring should be fitted to accommodate U-verse. In our case, technicians had to modify the wiring beneath some of the telephone jacks. Because I have been using regular wiring, I’d not yet tried a Video on Demand movie, which U-verse includes. This allows you to select from both films and tv episodes from a variety of your stations, including Showtime, and play them on your Television like a VCR.
